Vans needs an experiential campaign to help restore the 'cool factor' and authenticity of the Vans brand among the global, diverse youth/skate culture. We know that Communal and global solidarity is an important part of skate culture. Let’s connect global skate communities to each other with a virtual, global competition of the game SK8.
To build momentum, we’ll also release a globe inspired Hi-Top shoe. Then, a diverse panel of 12 global professional skaters will judge the competition using a predetermined list of tricks and moves. Selected skating communities will have portals installed at their parks, allowing participants to live stream their performances and watch competitors worldwide in real-time.
